LEADERSHIP
Aneal Krishnan, Founder & CEO
Aneal has lived across the United States, but after discovering the beauty and promise of the Pocono Mountains, he chose to make Monroe County home for his family.
In 2025, he founded Prosper Northeastern Pennsylvania to strengthen the region’s economy and improve the quality of life for those who live here.
Aneal’s commitment to public service is rooted in his military experience. He served as an Infantry Officer in the U.S. Army and was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for meritorious service in combat in Iraq. He brings that sense of duty, discipline, and mission-focus to his civic work today.
Professionally, Aneal draws on more than two decades of experience in finance and business leadership, including roles at Veritas Capital and Goldman Sachs. He approaches challenges with a strategic, solutions-oriented mindset shaped in both the private sector and public service.
Aneal earned dual degrees in Electrical Engineering and Management from MIT, where he studied on an Army ROTC scholarship, and later received his MBA from Harvard Business School.
